Well I did make it up the 2036 feet of the mountain (Snaefell), it was a brilliantly sunny morning in Port Erin, but was foggy on the mountain.I didn’t spend too long on the top, catching the first tram down after I arrived because I couldn’t see more than 50 yards. It is said that on a clear day you can see seven kingdoms from the summit: Isle of Man, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Heaven and the Sea. I could only see a very small part of the Isle of Man!
