An ‘Electric’ Race

There were three races scheduled for Wednesday: The TT Zero (for ‘alternative fuel’ powered bikes, ie bikes powered by electricity), the Supersport Race 2 and the Sidecar Race 2. The weather was again perfect for racing and there were some good results. Tony Rutter just stole a win in the TT Zero, pipping John McGuinness to the post by 1.3 seconds. Michael Dunlop won his FOURTH victory in the Supersport and The Birchall brothers won their first TT in the Sidecar race. I was so pleased to see them win, they deserve it!

Thursday was a chill out day, a time to catch up on some shopping and general Island sight seeing. Continue reading
